‘Photo Collage Maker’, as the name suggests, is a ‘digital scrapbooking and collage software’ according to the producer.

Basically you can set a page size on which you can add photos, a background, cliparts, an with the help of a few effects you can create a photo collage. I wasn’t impressed by this program. Besides a few cliparts and some textures it’s noting interesting.

If you try to use a preset background but the paper layout is different than the background’s you will see how your work in progress is ruined. If you try different effects and you want, for some reasons, to undo your actions you’ll be surprised to see that it isn’t possible. Only your last action is affected by the undo action. I think that it needs more features and maybe a wizard like interface, at least for the beginners, in order to make it more intuitive.

The user interface looks good and the work area is big but this is understandable if we think of the number of features.
