Samba Professional 2.44
Samba Professional is a free catalog designed to help you manage your entire collection of software, documents, movies, etc. In case you want to have a clear image of your software and multimedia content stored on your disks and hard drives, this program might be the solution for you.
You can create complex databases for several users and for each user you can create custom lists containing software or multimedia. The data can be categorized into documents, games, multimedia, music, operating systems, programs, video clips. You can create list containing album and track information for your collection of MP3s.
Software can be imported by name or by extension and what I found most interesting is this: you can create a software disk by selecting the desired items from the database and the program will copy all of them to your hard drive and will burn your CD.
You can view statistics related to your software and multimedia collections as pie charts or graphs. Exporting the file lists is very easy: you can export to text file, MS Word or MS Excel file formats. There are some other useful tools included such as a file manager or an event generator.
