An easy-to-use photo enhancement program.. Photo Frame Genius, formerly known as Photo Show is yet another tool for creating photo frames. I guess this was intended to be a very easy and quick to use software for making personal photos more fun. Besides the fact that the name (Photo Show) sounded very “Photoshopâ€? alike, which is a well known and a great image editor, “the new” Photo Frame Genius has so little to offer. All that’s changed is the name and nothing more!

As a photo editor, you can use this program to manually resize, adjust contrast, brightness and gamma, and flip your images from one side to another. There is a select tool which can only be used along with the cut tool. If you choose to work with it, you have to click and drag very carefully because you cannot adjust the selection after you let go of the mouse. Text can be added to the images in any area you want.

The unregistered version has 6 frames, 5 masking layers, 5 clipart objects and 4 types of shadows that you can use, and it allows you to place one frame on top of a shadow effect, or any other combination of those objects, resulting something that looks like a child’s play. Of course, you may only want to apply a frame to an image, or only a shadow. I must admit that I like a specific shadow this program has. When I applied it to one image it gave it a very interesting look.

Photo Frame Genius supports all major image formats. The output image can be saved as GIF, BMP, JPEG or PNG file, and you can even print it on paper.
