IrfanView is a freeware graphic viewer for all Windows platforms. The publisher states that its purpose is to be accessible enough for a novice and powerful for advanced users. In my opinion, this goal is accomplished. When you install the program, you have the option to associate filetypes with it. There is a button for associating only images with the program which I like because usually I only open images with IrfanView. However, the program has a long list of supported file formats. If you want to open even more file types you could download the plugins suite from the publisher’s website.

FunPhotor is not an usual photo editor, but a fun photo editor, that allows you to superimpose a picture over a template, thus resulting a funny image. Google bought all the rights of this product from Idealab. The first version delivered through Google was 1.618, which was far from being a prefect product. But because it was free, the product got better and better and version 2.6.0 is the most stable version.
